We are keeping culture strong. Kandos, Rylstone and the Capertee Valley are within the traditional Country of the Wiradjuri people, located on the western side of the Blue Mountains and just three and a half hours’ picturesque drive from Sydney. Wirimbili Cultural Experience is based in Kandos.
We offer tours of a number of unique sites which have great cultural significance for our people. Our tours are designed by local Wiradjuri people whose ancestors have occupied these areas for more than 65,000 years.
Our experiences are led by Aboriginal guides and can be tailored to meet your individual and group requirements and interests. There are opportunities for bushwalking to suit all ages and abilities. There are many Aboriginal cultural heritage and art sites situated in our local National Parks. We can assist with educational experiences that incorporate Wiradjuri language, tools, weapons, and artefacts, local history, traditional stories, bush food, and natural medicines.
We are happy to cater for corporate and team building experiences.
